Commuters using this service regularly can go with the MMTS monthly/quarterly passes. The pass can be availed at a concession price. There is also a combined pass for both MMTS and state owned APSRTC (Andhra Pradesh State Road Transport Corporation) which can be utilized to travel throughout the twin cities either in APSRTC city buses or the MMTS trains. There are special concessions on these passes for students.
First phase of mmts train service covers 43 kms of the city with 26 mmts stations. There are porposels of second phase of MMTS.
